Don’t let the title fool you, because FAX’s music isn’t a product of hate, nor will listening to it make you hate anything. It’s the other way around, really: “H.A.T.E.” is pure radiant pleasure, it’s love and it invites you to love, like Four Tet, Delorean or John Talabot. It’s all Ruben Alonso Tamayo’s fault, the Mexican head honcho of internet label Cyan, and creator of these four minutes of floating through a firmament of ambient house –with a cosmic touch– and glo-fi pop that form the opening of his very sensual “ Zig Zag ”. The album has been on the web for a couple of months and will now finally be released properly early next week, through Static Discos. If you prefer the vinyl, you are still in time to help out..
