Alpha Pup has spared no efforts to give Dibiase (aka Diabolic) a music video that would do justice to his beats. Three illustrators, experts in motion graphics and illumination, and an animator (Anthony Ciannamea, also the video’s editor and director) are credited on an intriguing film that looks like it was made under the sweet, inebriating effects of Tetrahydrocannabinol. “Skullcrack” is the first single taken from the debut album by this L.A.-based craftsman of rhythm and 8-bit embroidery. The album goes by the title of “Machines Hate Me” and was released yesterday. Search for it once the headrush produced by this smoky “Skullcrack” has subsided.
