An animated film. Colours that, because they’re so old and affected by time, seem extra intense and almost violent. The creatures of the forest are living side by side cordially, celebrating their common life in the wild. Their afternoons are spent in play and discovery, unaware of the devastating machinery of man nearby. Candy Claws tell us that “Silent Time Of Earth” takes place millions of years away when the Earth was still waking up. Perhaps it’s a metaphor for their own childhood, a world of fantasy and play still unaffected by the pernicious forces of adulthood, a time and place that is further away every day.
