Butterflies in your belly? No, these are ants, although in the end they have the same tickly effect. We told you already that the restless Robert Edward Stewart II, better known in underground rap circles as Beans, was about to release a new work on the Anticon label. It’s not a solo effort, as the member of Anti-Pop Consortium has been working with a pretty large group of people. Four Tet, Clark, Tobacco, DJ Nobody, In Flagranti, Son Lux, Sam Fogarino and Bumps are some of them. You can hear all of them on “End It All”, an album that features this track, “Mellow You Out”, as its closing track, and on which Beans shares vocal duties with the Tunde Adebimpe (TV On The Radio). Their mission: to find a way to calm you down.
