Right now in Australia, it’s sunny; and if it isn’t, at least the temperatures is guaranteed to be nicer than in the frosty Northern Hemisphere. This minor detail contextualises the latest single by electro-pop duo Bag Raiders. The infectious good vibes of “Sunlight” –the second single off their self-titled debut album– helps to warm us up with a dose of catchy noughties dance. It’s been spreading across the internet for a couple of days and now there’s a video version by French directors Fleur & Manu. Guest star Coco the chimpanzee plays the part of the tormented and tormenting lover. On 14th January, “Sunlight” will be out officially on EP, including remixes by Armand Van Helden and Gloves, whose remake can already be heard on Modular’s SoundCloud page.
