Girls Names put Belfast on the map for 80s-revival indie pop with their fresh debut album “Dead To Me ” (Slumberland, 2011). Now they are working on the songs that will make up their second album, which is expected to come out during the second half of 2012. A slight change of focus has been announced, with more weight to be given to the influence of krautrock and psychedelics. Something of this can already be heard in “ A Troubled See”, a new single that tends more towards jangle pop, with some very playful guitars. You can find it from the 25th June, on a 7” split record with newcomers Weird Dreams.
