David Lynch says that he thinks “it's so great that stores like Amoeba still exist. People should support those stores as a place where you can still find and enjoy all the different kinds of music”. Amoeba is a good example, but there are many of them; thousands of small or medium-sized shops that deserve to continue to exist. This is ultimately why Record Store Day was born, and Lynch wanted to contribute this year to generating demand for these shops. This coming Saturday a limited-edition 12” will be released, containing a recording on one side and artwork by Vaughan Oliver. It will feature the remix that Moby has done of “Noah's Ark”, one of the songs included on “Crazy Clown Time”.
