Arcade Fire Indulge In Epic Instrumentalism
Listen to “Horn Of Plenty”, another of the songs that the band has composed for the film “The Hunger Games”
High on epic instrumentalism: that is how Arcade Fire show themselves in “ Horn Of Plenty”, another of the songs the band has contributed to the soundtrack for “ The Hunger Games”, one of the American box-office hits of the season. As authors Win Butler and Régine Chassagne have commented, for the song in question they wanted to crystallise the feelings inspired in them by the fascist Capitol that dominates the masses - both in the film and in the Suzanne Collins novel that it is based on. Listen to the piece here, which could fit in perfectly well as a new anthem for the imminent Olympic Games.
