The iPod is ten years old and the company that changed our lives, Apple, is going through some important changes. Steve Jobs is stepping down because of health problems and on the streets people fear the apple is going to rot. Thanks to Jobs, we have been obsessing over gadgets for the past few years, constantly renewing our players because the screen was a millimetre larger (compared to the year before) and sticking needles in Bill Gates dolls. Without our beloved iPod we are nobody, so in order to show some love, here is today’s the list, marked this time by the technological present: some of the songs from the TV ads for the most famous MP3 player in history. 1. Daft Punk: “Technologic” 2. Jet: “Are You Gonna Be My Girl” 3. Ozomatli: “Saturday Night” 4. Wolfmother: “Love Train” 5. Eminem: “Lose Yourself” 6. Caesars: “Jerk It Out” 7. MC Hammer: “U Can’t Touch This” 8. Black Eyed Peas: “Hey Mama” 9. The Vines: “Ride” 10. Bonus Track: Stewie Griffin: Scandal “The Warrior” Steve Jobs steps down at Apple. But we'll always have the memories of some of the ads for one of his stellar products: the iPod. Here we give you ten.
