Ten tremendous films

Ten tremendous films

They could be one of the electronic pop sensations of 2011. It depends on them –can they maintain the levels reached with “Oak EP” on future release, remixes and mixtapes?– and also on you, their audience. One thing that’s clear about Labyrinth Ear, formed in London last summer by Emily and Tom (they’re so cute they don’t even give their last names), is that they don’t feel any pressure. Hence their escapist and relaxed list: their ten favourite films.

1. “The Story Of The Weeping Camel”(Byambasure Davaa y Luigi Falorni, 2003)

2. “The Sword In The Stone”(Wolfgang Reitherman, 1963)

3. “Grey Gardens”(Albert & David Maysles, 1975)

4. “Jules Et Jim”(François Truffaut, 1962)

5. “Alice In Wonderland”(Clyde Geronimi, Wilfred Jackson y Hamilton Luske, 1951)

6. “HouseSitter”(Frank Oz, 1992)

7. “The Secret Garden”(Agnieszka Holland, 1993)

8. “Belleville Rendez-Vous”(Sylvain Chomet, 2003)

9. “If...”(Lindsay Anderson, 1968)

10. “The German Sisters”(Margarethe Von Trotta, 1981)

Labyrinth Ear could become very big on the electronic pop scene in 2011. For now, their taste in films already is. Check out their ten all-time favourites.
