Holy Ghost! seem like they’re good kids. They recorded a well-behaved and enthusiastic dance album away from the limelight. They want to give you a good time and make you move your feet to songs that mix disco, electro, house and pop. That’s what can be found on their album debut for DFA, “Holy Ghost!”, and it’s what they transmit when playing live, which they’ll do at the end of this month at Primavera Sound in Barcelona, all set to destroy your dancing shoes. And just so you can verify they’re friendly and easy-going people, Nick Milhiser and Axel Frankel have offered us a list of ten places –physical or mental– they like to be. In other words: things and places that feed their soul.
San Miguel Primavera Sound 2011 takes place on 25 and 29 May at Poble Español, and from 26 to 28 May at Parc del Forum in Barcelona. Tickets are on sale here. PlayGround is a media partner of Primavera Sound Holy Ghost! seem like they’re good kids, and this list, positive and free of snobbishness, is proof of that. They’ve selected ten places and activities where they feel free and happy. Good vibes on the eve of their performance at Primavera Sound.
